Round Briquettes Without Holes

Thanks to the firm pressing, a solid briquette is created, guaranteeing an exceptionally high yield. Another advantage of these round briquettes is that they always have a moisture percentage of less than 5%.

This means that the combustion is ideal and clean, while the yield remains exceptionally high. A comparable wood in the form of a pallet weighs 960 kg, compared to a pallet of wood that weighs 800 kilograms (2 cubic meters).

Hardwood Briquettes

The hardwood briquettes consist of a balanced mixture of beech and oak and are EXTREMELY hard. The briquettes are very thick (9 cm in diameter) and can only be cut with a great deal of force.

The large, pure wood mass increases the glowing time of the individual briquettes. In our tests, we were able to achieve a duration of almost 4 hours with a low air supply. The flame duration was around 60 minutes – a good value for hardwood briquettes.

When burning, the briquettes expand by around 25%, which is quite typical for the round version. After burning a 10 kg package, we were only able to remove 80 g of ash from the oven. That is 0.8% – a very good result. We received the calorific value information from the manufacturer. From our point of view, we can confirm a wonderful, long-lasting and intense heat.

The package always contains 5 individual, smoothly sawn briquettes of the same length and 2 kg in weight. The packaging is very clean and tidy – no crumbs or abrasion. The extremely high calorific value and the strong flame of the hardwood briquettes ensure that the entire house is continuously heated. Briquettes made of beech literally disintegrate and thus spread throughout the entire combustion chamber. Even with the air supply permanently open, they burn very slowly, so hardwood briquettes can be described as particularly effective and heat-generating.

Softwood Briquettes

The softwood briquettes are very long and thick. They are easy to cut up if you want to portion the amount. They light up quickly and easily, although they open up slightly when burning. Softwood briquettes burn very intensely with a nice big flame and a long flame duration.

The glowing duration, however, is not as long as with hardwood briquettes. So if you want quick, intense heat and a beautiful flame display, these briquettes are a good choice. Thanks to the shrink wrap packaging, there is almost no abrasion in the packets. You can remove the briquettes completely from the packet.

In addition, you do not have to worry about splashes and small deposits on your stove pipe.
